Wedding Party

Bridesmaids

Monique Pouget, Maid of Honor
Monique is my little sister and best friend. Since early childhood, we’ve been inseparable. I cannot imagine life without her by my side – a life that would indeed be lacking in almost every aspect. Sharp as a tack, quick-witted, beautiful, and selfless, I’m so very proud to call Monique my sister. To know her is to love her, and I cannot wait to have her share in our big day.

Jenny Awrey Weatherman, Bridesmaid
Jenny is one of my oldest and dearest friends. We have known each other since second grade. It was while attending St. Mary Magdalen that I knew I had made a friend for life. Jenny comprises equal parts loyalty, gumption, and wit (with a dash of mischief). Despite her move to Alaska in high school, we kept in touch over the years. Our correspondence consisted of cassette tape letters due to our penchant for extended gab. She is welcoming a baby boy (William) with her husband, Josh, in March!

Kristen Fry, Bridesmaid
I have known Kristen since the second grade at St. Mary Magdalen. We’re always in sync, and often let others know we share a brain (I have yet to decide whether or not we should continue to advertise this). We’ve also shared countless memories over the years, including a trip to Australia in 2008. She and her husband, Joe, are currently conquering South America (since August 2011) and are due home just days prior to our wedding! (But seriously guys, come home already.) I consider myself blessed for having Kris in my life.

Patty Daniels, Bridesmaid
Humor is such a subjective thing; what I find comical, may be lost on someone else. However, I challenge anyone to conceal his or her laughter when Ms. Patty Daniels takes center stage. Patty and I met freshman year at St. Bonaventure, and we instantly clicked. We’ve shared innumerable adventures throughout the years, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of them. With Patty around, I’m reminded that life is beautiful.

Carrie Nelson, Bridesmaid
Carrie and I met in college at the University of San Francisco. We were neighbors in our dorm, Xavier, and became fast friends. We went on to live together for the better part of five years and explored all S.F. had to offer. Carrie has a heart of gold, and is one of the most genuine people I’ve ever come into contact with. My college experience just wouldn’t have been complete without her. Carrie still resides in S.F. and we love to schedule visits.

Kristy Reinholz, Bridesmaid
Kristy is Mike’s sister. It took a while to meet her, since she was attending Cal Poly when Mike and I were in high school. She was worth the wait! Kristy is such a strong, independent woman (and hilarious to boot). She’s essentially Mike, with beautiful hair! (Did I mention she’s gorgeous?) Great genes aside, I’m absolutely ecstatic to be gaining another sister as well as a brother-in-law (her awesome husband, Jeremy)!

Laurie Irvine, Bridesmaid
I met Laurie though Reid Hansen (Mike’s Best Man). Her loyalty is only exceeded by her kindness, and no sum can balance her worth. She was present for my engagement to Mike, and I know she will be around for years to come!

Groomsmen

Reid Hansen, Best Man
My first memory of Reid goes back to the first day of freshman year at St. Bonaventure. I was mumbling an obscure movie line on the bus and Reid finished it. I was simultaneously envious and blown away by his knowledge of horrible movie quotes. Since that day Reid and I were inseparable. We played high school golf together and shared an interest in just about everything. I joke around with Reid a lot when I say he is the smartest guy I know on paper whenever he says something…less than intelligent, but without a doubt Reid is the smartest guy I know. A good man, my best man.

Nick Aliprandi, Groomsman
Nick and I met some time during the summer of 1999. Nick and I shared an interest in the same music, enjoyed snowboarding together and played on the same recreational hockey team. Nick is full of great qualities but the one that stands out the most is his easygoing personality. Nick is always good for a laugh (either at or with), it doesn’t matter, and that’s what I like about Nick.

Justin Arthur, Groomsman
Justin and I played youth sports together when we were little kids growing up in Camarillo, but didn’t buddy up until we worked together at Spanish Hills Country Club. It is amazing to think that we both held on to our jobs, with the amount of “on the clock” golf we played. We played many rounds together and many stories and jokes were told during those rounds. Justin is without a doubt the most mature kid I know, and definitely one of the goofiest guys I have ever had the luxury of knowing.

Ryan Douglas, Groomsman
Ryan and I have been buddies for over 13 years, and were roommates for just over a year before I got engaged to Jackie. Ryan, “Doug” as I call him, was definitely the best roommate a guy could ask for. We share a common love for baseball, beer, and making fun of everything life throws our way. Doug has the amazing ability to make me laugh on my worst day. Ryan “Doug” Douglas is without a doubt the funniest guy I have ever had the privilege of meeting.

Bryan Eaton, Groomsman
Bryan and I have been golfing buddies for over a decade…and for that decade, I have been desperately trying to beat him. His carefree nature makes him easy to get along with and hard to stay mad at. We’ve worked together, played hockey and golfed, and managed to talk our way out of trouble. Bryan has the amazing ability to talk to anyone about anything and carry on like he knows what he is talking about.

Jeff Henton, Groomsman
Jeff and I go back over 10 years, and in that time we have shared interests in just about every hobby. I consider myself a Jack-of-all-trades, master of none. Jeff is definitely a master. Everything this guy touches he excels at. He was definitely my driving force to better myself at guitar, snowboarding, rock climbing and surfing. Jeff is definitely a free spirit and has many qualities that I aspire to have.

Jeremy Reinholz, Groomsman
I first met Jeremy when he moved out from Minnesota over half a decade ago to date my sister, Kristy. He was a quieter guy, which was a relief because my family tended to be on the loud side. Jeremy and I instantly bonded over baseball, beer and the ridiculousness my family possessed. When he and my sister married I was thrilled to have Jeremy become my brother-in-law. He is definitely a classy guy and someone I can learn a lot from.

Greg Smith, Groomsman
Greg and I met some time in 2000 and since then, there has been no turning back. Greg’s infectious ways grow on you like a fungus. As kids, we bonded over obscure music and Dodger baseball. Looking back, it is amazing that Greg and I have managed to avoid trouble for all of these years. Greg is a fiery character but definitely has his head on his shoulders. Greg might be the most responsible, goal-driven guy I know.
